Released: 30/09/2005

Woodstock Film Festival's annual program of feature films, docs and panels that focus on music brings the first screening in over 33 years of "The Concert for Bangladesh," the filmed version of the first benefit concert of its kind featuring George Harrison, Ravi Shankar, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell and Billy Preston.

The showing itself will consist of a dance/party screening at the Bearsville Theatre on Friday, September 30 at 10:00 p.m. with special musical guest appearances.

The legendary photography of Barry Feinstein will be raffled off. Signed photographs of George Harrison, Leon Russell, and Bob Dylan performing together at the 1971 "The Concert for Bangladesh", are amongst the prizes.

This special preview advances the October 25, 2005 launch of the Apple Films/Rhino DVD and Apple Corps/Capitol-EMI CD release, and sets off a month of celebration of this monumental concert event.
